About the app | Desafio Mude1Hábito

Desafio Mude1Hábito is the corporate health and gamification programme created for Unimed Paraná. Through an app that turns small daily actions into points, challenges and rewards, the project has become one of the cooperative’s major internal engagement initiatives. It now operates across 21 regional units and is part of everyday life for thousands of employees and cooperative physicians.

Challenge

The starting point was to validate the concept within a limited timeframe and budget, without knowing whether employees would adopt a new app. This led to the decision to launch a simpler initial version, also developed by Estúdio Navas. Once the concept was validated, the next challenge was to evolve it into a complete native app, improving its visual identity and experience without losing the features already engaging thousands of real users.

Solution

We retained the validated navigation logic and built a completely new visual layer on top of it, refining UX and covering every stage of the journey, from onboarding to error states. The result was a more robust, visually refined app that increased engagement compared with the previous edition while preserving the essence that had made the project a recognised internal engagement initiative.
